National Clinical Database
Danespine
A common, international language for reporting outcomes, complications and unforeseen incidents must be related to a cost-effectiveness frame. Thus, the endeavour of creating national wide projects is based on a newly established national web-based database, “DaneSpine”, as well as on randomized clinical trials. Gathering a large amount of representative data from many centres, DaneSpine will enable the project group to create an evidence-base based on a standardized format thus ensuring that observations are comparable across centres. Rare adverse events can be more easily identified, easy and fast assessment of short as well as long-term outcome gets possible and the monitoring of clinical trials can be easily integrated.
